Anti-Iraq war hunger strike

So a bunch of movie stars are participating in a “rolling” hunger strike to protest the war in Iraq.  And here I thought that they had just invented a new diet.  Hmmm…or maybe that’s what my kids do for dinner occasionally…I thought they were just bad eaters, but maybe it turns out they’re actually acting out a sophisticated consciousness-raising experiment.  Who knew?

5 Rebel Yells to “Anti-Iraq war hunger strike”

  1. Christy Says:

What the heck is the point of a “rolling” hunger strike? Big whoop.

  2. PB Says:

I have never understood the purpose of a hunger strike. The only one in danger is the idiot not eating? You don’t want to eat? Fine die from starvation, see if we care!?

  3. QD Says:

Maybe it’s the Hollywood version of the kid holding his breath when things don’t go his way…

  4. Nick Says:

A hunger strike resonates with the Christian ethic. It is one person sacrificing himself without violence for some good. I’m not for them, they foolishly endanger life, but there is a resonance. As for a rolling hunger strike…what is the point?

  5. lucas Says:

oh oh look at me i have not ate in 24 hours for our troops ….that paris girl does it everyday for nothing but fear of a fat azz
