Looks like it’s going to be a big day for the GOP in old Virginia. Not only will McDonnell win in a walk, but I think the other top tier candidates are expected to win, and it also appears that they could pick up roughly 10 seats in the legislature.
Looks that way. I’m not guessing on ten seats, but that certainly wouldn’t surprise me.
Republicans will win all three statewide offices by double digits. Both McDonnell and Cuccinelli will be the new stars of the Republican Party. I’ve watched Cuccinelli for several years. He’s a true believer. Keep your eye on him. McDonnell will be on the VP short list in 2012.
