Doubly successful abortion kills two
A woman got a twofer at a New York abortion clinic (i.e. “a one-stop gynecology and plastic surgery clinic”) which killed both the her and her child during an abortion.
An employee at the clinic … insisted that everything had gone well at the second-floor medical facility.
“The patient was transferred to the hospital, she didn’t die at the clinic,” said the woman, who refused to give her name. “Nothing happened here.”

Although the article does not mention the child, I presume it was ably killed it as well.
If a woman died giving birth it would be on the front page of the NYT’s and Barbara Boxer would call for outlawing birth.
I thought that the Wymmyn’s movement had already forced the medicos to treat pregnancy as a disease.
So, this poor soul lost her life trying to get ‘cured’ at a non-regulated medical facility.
Under the mystery responder’s logic,my child is given a medicine at school and they die later at the hospital from a reaction, “nothing happened here(at school)” – the school’s employee is not responsible? Oh, wait, we can’t give the kids anything at school – not even a hug….

Why, if the Left could pull it off, they would outlaw pregnancy entirely which would subsequently carry the punishment of imprisonment and mandatory abortion.
And, for the obvious reasons, I dare not laugh at the notion.
Is it clear that she was having an abortion? It’s entirely likely that the woman lied about it to her family, but the ridiculous statements by the clinic call so much of this into question. Whether it was an abortion, a cyst removal, or a band-aid application, shoddy medicine is shoddy medicine. I hope this is reviewed appropriately to ensure that whatever medical care is being administered there is done so safely by responsible people. The response noted in the article seemed more like “ass covering” than anything bordering on “responsible”.

What exactly are the obvious reasons that your scenario is anything more than a joke?
It seems clear from the article that she was having an abortion.
Is the worker’s comment that ridiculous given the nature of the business? While severed arteries are never “good news” I’m not at all surprised that this worker was unshaken by a life being taken within those walls. Birds will fly, fish will swim and abortionists will kill. Death is the very nature of the practice.
Also, I highly doubt there is much “medical care” happening inside the “one-stop gynecology [sic] and plastic surgery clinic.”

It is unfair to equate the mindset of those who work in abortion clinics with the mindset of those who kill. If you want to equate their actions, by all means, do so. There is amble evidence to support the position that abortion = killing, which I don’t think you nor I need to convince anyone here of.
But, in my experience, most people who support abortion-rights or work in abortion clinics do not believe what they are doing is killing. These people do not view the life of the fetus and the life of the mother as equal. So while they may be unshaken with the loss of lives of numerous fetuses, if they are equally unshaked with the loss of life as an adult, it probably has more to do with them being a sociopath than with them supporting abortion.
Now, if you want to argue that people who support abortion are sociopaths, that is a whole ‘nother conversation.
