  1. Styres Says:

Being the BBQ consessieur that I am, I have been the all of the Dreamland franchises. It really isn’t Dreamland unless you go to the very first one in Tuscaloosa on Jerusalem Heights road. No other Dreamland franchise has been able to emulate that fine ambiance. Many times I have been to the Dreamland in T’Town when they were out of paper towels and I have to wipe my mouth with white bread.

  2. Justin Says:

    here, here.

  3. Ramson's eyepatch Says:

I’ve paid my respects at the Dreamland temple in Tuscaloosa many times but somehow I missed out on Golden Rule Q. Are they mostly around Birmingham? Recommended?

  4. Styres Says:

Golden Rule is not worth it in my opinion.

Go to Jim & Nicks on Hwy. 280 or Ollie’s off of I-65N(home of the famous US Sup. CT. civil rights case Katzenbach v. McClung).

  5. Taylor Says:

Ollie’s has been closed for years. They moved out to the Hoover/Pelham area in the late ’90’s and then closed shortly after the move. I think you can still buy their sauce.

  6. Ramson's eyepatch Says:

Thanks for the GR advice. (After I stared at their website for a while, I realized that I did go to a GR in the middle of nowhere a few years ago and thought it was just so-so.)
