    3 wins over teams with winning records last year……I have never seen such hype for a team that gave up over 600 yards of offense in its final game last year, with 9 of those starters returning this year…is that a good thing?

    It may or may not be a good thing. Sometimes players improve from one year to the next. Moreover, the Irish have a number of freshmen on the 2-deep defense. The defense should be a little faster. Also, ND had a pretty good offense last year.

    That being said, it won’t be easy against Tech.

    ND is overhyped. 600 yards given up by the defense in their last game. ND will lose to either Penn St or Michigan and USC and still play in a BCS game.
