Step 3: Liberal Democracy!But really, the whole Obama thing is worse, since it doesn’t even have a hint of theory to back it up. The idea that installing a radical, hyper-partisan left-wing minority (with seething a hostility to the historical majority culture he is meant to govern) will somehow “unite” the country and “transcend” its divisions is counterintuitive and absurd on its face. It’s not just that the intermediate step is missing. It’s that the first step actively undermines the supposed end goal.
