Feddie on Hardball

I’ve had a few requests for the links to my appearance on Hardball that took place during my sabbatical from SA (May 30, 2007). There were two segments, and you can watch them here and here.

2 Rebel Yells to “Feddie on Hardball”

  1. Joel Leggett Says:

    Feddie,

Great job on Hardball. You really did a first rate job. I hope you get more opportunities to make such appearances.

However, I do have to take issue with your statement that you support intervention in Darfur. Honestly, who are we going to deploy there. Right now we are deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan. I have friends that have seen their families for maybe a year in the last three. That is a real hardship and an almost unbearable strain on families. Are you really proposing that we add to that burden for something that has absolutely no strategic interest to the U.S. Lets not forget that when me and my fellow servicemen and women signed up we did so to defend this nation and its interests. I fail to see how keeping one set of people from killing another set of people pursuant some age old hatred in some remote spot in Africa is worth risking the life of one American serviceman or woman.

Are you willing to make that case to the families I live with here on base?

Keep this link in your hip pocket when someone challenges you about Obama. http://marathonpundit.blogspot.com/2008/05/bill-ayers-stepping-on-us-flag-in-2001.html
