One Rebel Yell to ““Remarks By John McCain on Judicial Philosophy””

  1. BillyHW Says:

At least he’s saying the right things now. And he could not have made a better choice than Sam Brownback as his top(?) judiciary advisor.

But he also carefully avoided any mention of “judges like Scalia and Thomas.” Preferring instead to mention “Roberts and Alito.” We know where Scalia and Thomas stand on Roe. We *don’t* know yet where Roberts and Alito stand. This could be a wise move to court squishy Democrats, since Roberts still has that superstar glow and aura about him that has followed him since the nomination. Or it could be a plan to stab conservatives in the back again.

And just how exactly did he vote when Souter, Ginsberg and all the rest of the bad ones came up for confirmation?
