Last post until Easter.

I’m swamped at work today and tomorrow, so, absent a huge story, this will be my last post until Easter, as I will continue my tradition of giving up TV and the internet for lent.  I will “see” you all again, after Easter, with a house much cleaner, a body much fitter, and hopefully, and most importantly, a soul more sound.

i’m convinced that this explains how protestantism developed - Luther was just lazy. think about it - no requirements, no sacrifices, no fasting. protestants don’t have to do anything

it’s just church followed by football and bbqs.

There’s the “not being a drunk” part of Protestantism.

  5. PB Says:

There’s the not being a drunk part of society too!

  6. Jay Says:

Sure. I was mostly kidding, but the outright prohibition on drinking, smoking, gambling, etc, is certainly unique to the more fundamentalist Protestant denominations.
