Eh? What are you talking about. PP does lots of things besides provide abortion services. So I don’t know why you call them “proaborts” unless you’re just trying to be dishonest.

Seriously, Bobbie?

Despicable! Yet, not surprising.

I hope Bobbie is kidding. If I were trying to parody PP’s defenders, I would write something just about exactly like that.

And prisons do a lot more than hold people in their cells. They run libraries and laundries and serve meals and offer sports opportunities. It would be unfair to call them pro-incarceration. They are so much more!!

I doubt Bobbie is kidding. My wife has visited planned parenthood many times (perhaps dozens), and has never had an abortion. Providing birth control (which, in case you forget prevents abortions) is a big part of their mission. But, of course, since they vocally support abortion and provide abortions, it’s perfectly reasonable to assume that the only reason anyone would ever go there is to get an abortion.

“Providing birth control (which, in case you forget prevents abortions)”
No, providing birth control mearly causes more abortions, just earlier in the pregnancy. Planned Parenthood is just plain evil.

PB:
One assumes you’re referring to the birth control pill, which is only one of the forms of birth control that PPH offers. Also, your definition of this type of birth control as “abortion” means that you’ve got a much more serious problem: nearly 80% of all pregnancies result in this sort of abortion quite naturally. Extrapolating from NIH and AGI numbers, this means something like 15 million such natural abortions in the US each year. The additional abortions caused by the birth control pill would be a drop in the bucket.
(For those who might not know what PB is talking about, the birth control pill works in two ways: primarily by preventing fertilization, but secondarily by preventing a fertilized egg from ever implanting in the uterine lininng. The latter is a back-up in case the former fails, and is relatively infrequent.)
