I was in D.C. this week and spent some time in the National Mall. It looked like a pretty big deal. The crowd was all the way from The Natural History Museum to the base of the Capitol lawn near Grant’s statue.
Looked like a pretty big production. Hopefully the cause will continue to get adequate attention and support.

I volunteered at the march and was deeply impressed by two things: the diversity of the crowd (politically, ethnically, religiously, etc) and how focused everyone was on the issue at hand. No “Bush sucks” signs or people injecting their pet causes into (and diffusing the meaning of) the rally.
